J.c. Sherman, (tuba), holds a Bachelor of Music in Tuba Performance and Music Education from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Ronald Bishop and Raymond Premru.  As a free-lance musician specializing in low brass, he has performed with the Blossom Festival Band, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Heritage Brass Quintet, the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, the Olympic Brass, the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, the Cleveland Opera, the Cleveland/San Jose Ballet Orchestra, and the Youngstown Symphony.In addition to performing, Mr. Sherman is an instrument technician at Academy Music.
